Langvlei Dunes is situated just off the N2 between Wilderness
and Sedgefield in the beautiful Garden Route on the southern coast
of South Africa . The renowned beaches, rivers and lakes are just
minutes away.
The two unit self catering cottage is in 1 hectare of dune bush that
is in the process of being re-established to its natural state after
the alien vegetation has been removed.
As it is a quiet, safe area, it is the perfect base from which to
explore the countryside or alternately, to just relax and enjoy the
peace and quiet.
George, half-way between Cape town and Port Elizabeth , with a host
of restaurants, malls and cinemas is about 20 minutes away.
CLIMATE
Langvlei Dunes has a temperate climate with an average daily maximum
temperature of 21 degrees C and minimum of 11 degrees C. It has an
average annual rainfall of 715 mm which is spread fairly evenly
throughout the year.
